accident update!

Well after numerous calls to insurance companies today, we did get some good news.
It was the other ladies fault and her insurance company wants to settle up with the Jeep right away. They are giving my son a fair price for it, so now the hunt for a new vehicle is on. We still do not know anything about the insulin pump, but are working on that right now also. We drove out to the Jeep and got the rest of my sons stuff out of it. I will get some pics posted of it tomorrow sometime. They were very lucky young men. Joey is feeling better today, but still taking his Vicodin about twice a day. I think things will be ok. At least today I think so, will take tomorrow as it comes.
Now am just looking forward to good friends and fun next week!!!
So hurry up Kathy and Talia, get here quick!!

Glad to hear they are ok. Lucky with the insurance. We had to file in court so we still don't have a replacement for the car my son lost in April.

No car, no job...yikessss!

Hope things hold together so I can get to see you all next week!

One step at a time. Be really cautious about settling for the medical expenses though. Make absolutely certain both of your sons have no residual affects from the accident.

My son had an accident...other person's fault. Went to the doctor with his hand. Had to have some x-rays, took meds, etc. Months later he hadn't mentioned it. I was going to make an appointment to go to the insurance company and settle up. THAT day, he said, "You know. My hand still hurts a little."

Got him to an orthopedist. He had to go to another orthopedist who dealt exclusively with hands and have surgery to reattach a ligament!

Be careful!

Glad to hear some good news. I am still jealous you all get to hang out together.

Are you just meeting up or is there an event?

Glad things are looking up, and your boys are felling better. I hope he has no long term affects form the accident. I didn't even know about it until today, don't know why my list didn't update. I was coming to tell you how excited I was for all of you getting together when I read the post about the accident. I should have read this one first, that one was scary. But I'm so relieved they are doing better today. I so wish I could have came up with Kathy & Talia, I'll be thinking about all of you this week, wishing you all the best. I know you will have a great time. Give holee a big hugs for me.

How are the sons?

Want to try for the cookbook again? The Friends group is celebrating its 1 year blog anniversary by giving away a cookbook. The blog doesn't get much traffic...the librarian and I are the primary lurkers! LOL

Good luck!
