The Challenge is "Hidden Treasures"

That was the theme chosen for our first ever Art Group Challenge. We have opened up our own Yahoo group. Soon we will have our own blog!
Hidden Treasures, hmmmm, so many things I can think of BUT two thoughts keep coming back to me. As some of you know the ocean speaks to me the loudest of all! I love the water, the sand, the waves. Everything about being part of that warms me from the inside out. I love to swim in it, and just coast my body along the waves. When I die, I want my ashes scattered in it, so I can spend eternity floating along. Sounds weird, but that is me. So of course my first thought is treasures hidden in the sand. I am sure that is going to be a start of my challenge piece.
BUT, the one other thought that is pushing its way into my head is film!! The old film that you held up to a light to see, with its black and white exposure looking surreal. And that may be the way I go. All my treasures showing in film.
I can`t wait to start!! Did I already say that?? About twenty plus times. :)

ooough both of those are great ideas to get you started T! When I think of Hidden treasures I think of the Hershey's Chocolate Kisses I keep hidden in the mixing bowl up above the coffee pot so the kids won't find and eat it! :P LOL You know... b/c some days I "NEED" to eat at least 1/2 of the bag!!!! LOL

Will we get to watch your progress since they are opening up a blog?

Love from Texas! ~bonnie

Tammy I am with you on the sea. I just have to go get that salt on my body some days. It is a craving.
I to want my askes spread over the sea just as my father's were.
Good ideas you have. I think I have worked mine out in my mind just have to do it now.
Take care
Delia
